First up is innovative London design studio Neon Niche. So it’s over to Neon’s Lubna Keawpanna to explain their smart Creativi-Tea project…
Neon Niche is a design studio bursting with ideas, based in Earls Court, London. We work in the fields of print design, web design, photography and illustration. We work hard, relish challenges and love creating mind-blowing designs. More than just pretty pictures we believe in beautiful yet intelligent design, derived through research, observation and exploration.
Working in the fast paced design industry and creating a lot of print work, we always have clients who want things ASAP – a printing service like Solopress.com comes in very handy and is a huge asset to our business. It turns out that when we wanted to print work for ourselves, we wanted everything at top quality and with a quick turnaround time too.
When we launched our website, www.neonniche.com, we knew we wanted to let all everyone know about it. We wanted to send something creative and fun to friends, clients and prospective clients. We had the idea of sending everyone beautiful blooming tea to represent our creativity – which we had shipped over from China. When the tea arrived we were really excited but hadn’t figured out what material we were sending out with it, when we designed all the elements we wanted it all printed and send it out to everyone as soon as we could.
We knew we had to use the super Solopress.com, they produced all the material we needed – business cards, letterheads, postcards, stickers and bespoke tags – perfectly in a 24-hour turn around time. Having used Solopress.com before we knew their short turnaround time didn’t mean a compromise on quality – how they do it, we’re still not sure!
The next day we had a beautiful vibrant pink delivery from Solopress.com that we immediately posted out. We encouraged the recipient to unleash our creativi-tea by making our special Neon Niche tea that, once brewed, blossoms into a beautiful flower that tastes great. It’s worked a treat with all the printed material.
